The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 优点和缺点一样突出，构图摄影非常完美，更接近舞台剧式的表演则是一把双刃剑，一方面最大限度的还原了莎翁作品的的文学性，另一方面也最大限度的限制了作为电影作品存在的价值！
@NYFF59十分古典且戏剧化的黑白片，摄影和音乐与全片氛围很协调，科恩真的很有让人不明觉厉的能力，我大为震撼。近距离见到了导演影帝影后十分开心！！

念白很舞台化，背景很表现主义，光线是最棒的。华盛顿和麦克多蒙德的表演就中规中矩吧。整体文本的内核和构思没有太大新意。如果能移植到舞台，复刻光线和背景，我觉得感受会更好。
剧情很垃圾，导演像在拍MV，动不动就放歌，印度小哥也太帅了，爱了爱了
