During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 整体还不错的传记影片，相对于其它运动传记型题材，这部里面除了天赋，努力，更加偏向策略！从青年赛的呼声中休战，学习文化和修身养性，到没有迫不及待的签约，到赛场的策略性安排，处处充满了策略性放大成功效果的手法，这是这部影片中值得放大的部分！

通过电影认识了网球传奇威廉姆斯姐妹，父亲国王理查德功不可没，母亲女王欧拉辛的默默付出也不可忽视。
是那种好看的电影，尤其是人家姐俩是真的强。最后选择的那场比赛也有些心思。

真的又拖沓又无趣的剧本，人物都没写好，怎么演都是纸上谈兵的感觉。这要是称帝真的最水之一了。电影更偏功能性一些，感觉编剧和导演都是接了个行货，没太走心。

大威小威这么伟大的球员居然沦为工具人，在电影中毫无存在感，重点全是她们的爸爸，仿佛一切功劳全是这个爸爸的。为什么不拍各个世界名人的妈妈？他们是没妈妈吗？？？？？？？？？？？
认定目标，努力坚持，我们看到的是结果，也许当事人享受的是过程。
体育运动之所以能风靡全球，是因为它本身包含了很多人类共通的美好品质。一个女子网坛历史前三和一个前十选手的传记电影，最后提炼出来的只有肤色....格局还是笑了。
很适合Will Smith的角色也有很恰当的表演，但在全世界已经知道结果的前提下，人物的形象问题是被削弱的。运动本身没有被夸张强调，从密集的家庭戏中大概可以想象到如果结局不同，又会发生什么样的变化。
平庸老套，充斥着陈词滥调的学院派传记片，不过史皇的表演值得一座今年的奥斯卡影帝🏆
影片也侧重于父亲角色 所以体育比赛的场面拍的比较马虎 也可以理解 还是不错的传记片。
