The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 告别母亲，再告别法兰西座，匆匆回归就马上又与师父诀别。虽然剧团已经够克制了，但还是难敌大泉洋的演技精湛的催泪自白。恭喜柳乐优弥重回巅峰，后面老年时期恍惚间还真以为是北野武本人。本片表演值得再来一个 影帝 殊荣。

普通影迷对于所谓「烧脑反转剧」最大的误区在于，错误将编导刻意的「上帝视角」作为主人公超人智商与设定的基础，「无巧不成书」在通俗剧本中已经造作得无以复加了。

文本太精彩了，丝毫不觉得乏味枯燥！花小钱办大事，赶紧改成话剧吧……
很精致的犯罪小品，二桃杀三士的小把戏被男主的演技演绎得格外生动，不足在于悬念的丢失太早了，高潮部分的反转并不畅快，亮点在于加入了英国“绅士”的文化，有点《王牌特工》中对文化的强调意味。
意外的有些温情和伤感。不要让人笑，要逗人笑。
