The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 随了剧情推进，形式感被逐渐消解，代入感却越发真实。文青的结局似乎从来都是注定，在任何国家，在任意年代。“我应该去当教师，只有孩子适合拥有理想”。
#VIFF2021 拍得真不太行。开场三分钟长镜从现代穿越回90年前，喻示全球加速右转的当下与山雨欲来风满楼的1931并无二异，各种娴熟运用的技法让人着迷。可后面却越来越泄气，镜头也变得平庸，所谓的“渐入佳境”无非就是叙事更主流，再无出彩之处。如果这个故事交给娄烨来拍，起码能短三分之一，也会更有厚重感。
时代来了就是来了，我们谈不了理想，也进不去广场。
片尾曲千万不能略过！可以说是还原电影情节的跌宕起伏！

电影内容或许很有意义，也很有警示性，但这绝不能令它成为一部好电影
一个符合二战后流行文化规训的纳粹想象，但深入纳粹风暴的核心来解读最终解决方案的诞生、实施人类灭绝的屠刀落下，似乎有更好的视角和路径。这部只做到了忠实、准确和严谨的会议纪要。
虽然内容惨无人道，形式上确是平凡常见的工作会议。
这个男主太适合演这种戏了。法式落魄，都活不下去了但是好想跟你爱一场。无主之作也是一样的氛围感。劝退薪资总共250，欠房租160，都还要拿60给女友买生日礼物。两人赤身裸体去隔壁“吃大餐”太惊艳了，“今天想吃的甜品是吻，三个吻，你去准备吧”…甜蜜暴击！一直在等这漫长的三小时碎碎念，最后会给法比安一个怎样的结局。没想到如这电影一样，惊艳了一下又哦了。扑棱两下之后，连个泡也冒不出了（ps：这一段的镜头手法非常好！）
