The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 中年人的感情虽然无法免俗，但是成熟的处理方式倒是挺符合中年人的体面的。剧情可能只值得三颗星，但是有了美景和美食的加持，多给一星也无妨

从《花生酱猎鹰》到《暗处的女儿》到今年的《恰恰丝滑》，稳扎稳打渐渐走出“后-五十度”阴影的Dakota；一脚被本片踢回原形，真是谢谢【。矛盾的地方可能在于想要进行更具现代意识和很“酷”的更新（对第四面墙的使用很笨拙更是惊吓、同样选择Henry Golding作为花瓶依然不能代表有比肩于《布里奇顿》的彻底娱乐），却又仍然在出品一个很正统、处处充满着拘谨的重述；最终它只留下了美好（美丽）的人，却不能创造更额外的价值。考虑到本片还间接“搞黄”了Sarah Snook和Joel Fry明显更有兴趣的版本，罪加一等！
