The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实我觉得走平淡温暖路线更好一些，有些迷之玄幻了。

画风很有意思，也有日本神灵文化的背景，可惜故事节奏做的比较差，前半部分太拖沓，后半部分又莫名仓促。

开场《龙猫》似的场景已经够治愈人了，奶奶细心制作每一餐食物给两个无家可归的人时，治愈了此时隔离中一日三餐厨房疲软症的我。每个人面对自己的恐惧与悲伤，与大地所有的“奇妙物”一起战胜恐惧恶魔。我也希望这世间有一个吹笛子的小女孩，可以带领给我们化解恶魔，但此刻，至少有内心的坚强。
