The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2021版麦克白(不想数之前有多少版了)，值得一说的大概是这算是科恩兄弟分家之后 科恩哥哥的单飞之作？另外就是极简主义的舞台剧式布景和极佳的黑白摄影，以及值得称道的男女主角的表演。Period.

7.6 舞台剧般的对白与戏剧冲突。少了科恩兄弟原来的黑色幽默，保有寓言故事的成分。在光与影、建筑结构的设计上可见用心。但这个老故事没有特别吸引人。

上次看是97版，15年法斯宾德版本女巫部分太无聊，毫无神秘性可言，本片女巫的几场戏已经值得五星。
一部平庸的小清新同性影片，既不够生动，也谈不上深刻。
这种风格的电影，喜欢的特别喜欢，不喜欢会觉得很闷无聊。电影的台词和念白充满了舞台剧的气息，虽然黑白色调，但是却层次和构图来增强了画面的美感，还有打光也太棒了，让建筑彰显棱角分明，气势磅礴， 连人的面庞也英武很多。
3.5 Joel Coen并不在乎麦克白，只在乎如何把舞台布景变为电影布景。

科恩兄弟解散后，最不科恩的科恩电影。被预告片骗了，本以为是默片，没想到话痨的受不了。实在想不明白为什么看这个电影耽误

7/10，制作精良、高度风格化的佳作，观影时多次想起威尔斯的《奥赛罗》和奥利弗的《哈姆雷特》。与威尔斯的《奥赛罗》类似，本片也更换了主角的种族，并毫不意外地破坏了影片的可信性。
看着发觉是《蜘蛛巢城》的剧本，而后才想起蜘蛛是黑泽明改编自莎士比亚的麦克白。隽永经典的剧本，权力跟财富是人类永远追逐相争的悲剧。黑白的摄影刻意舞台剧化，黑人演员占据主要角色，种种改变重塑经典，有新意没突破。
