The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 最后不要吃饭的时候看，因为真的有点恶心。
这么出色的影像质感，这么特别的故事氛围，这么迷人的恐怖形象和设定，却没有同规格的紧张感、压迫感和悬疑感相衬，太可惜了点。影像层面的质量明明这么好了，却让人感受不到什么张力，给人以“恐怖了，但没完全恐怖”的隐秘的膈应感。最让我可惜的是，明明怪物带有克苏鲁色彩的民俗神话设定值得深挖，在影片中却被走流程式地略过了？！
整个基调非常悲伤，一对兄妹，拯救孩子，孩子拯救家人的故事。
导演完全没有把故事拍好，就当做是当地旅游环境宣传片好了
很普通的怪物片，唯一精彩的就是血腥特效化妆和怪物的呈现了，其他死气沉沉没啥意思，5分。
题材不错，画风也比较喜欢就是太暗了，这个剧情和运镜哦...
氛围感很好，阴冷潮湿的美国小镇，古怪的家庭，变异的人类，慢慢烘托的节奏感，还是挺有看点的，只是结尾部分太草率了，整体的表达也是有的，还可以，可以一看。
所有的恐怖和惊吓元素对我来说都是极度过时与无效的，这种好莱坞传统恐怖类型片已经走到墙角了。
很久没有看过这么无聊的恐怖片了，当时看预告非常期待，以为是克苏鲁复兴之作，没想到呵呵

最后一段，看的连呼无语。亲哥快死了不管，不立刻叫救护车非得先救小孩。非把亲哥带到作死地点以后再叫救护车，然后单枪匹马地就去了，我就想女主心里没点数？哪来的勇气啊？哦，原来勇气不是梁静茹给的，是主角光环给的。毕竟凶猛无比的大怪物被女主几下留给戳死了。最后亲哥也变异了。只能说编剧是真恨亲哥啊，非把他弄死不可。
女主跟女主弟弟讲的不清不楚的。怪物设定也很普通。其实可以拍的更好的。
