劇情有點平淡，也沒什麼出彩吸引人的部分，中間部分氣氛挺好，結局有點蹩腳，整體來說沒有預想中來得好。

东木大爷的电影得抓紧看，说不定就是遗作，他今年来拍的老人题材也是往这个方向去的，这部也是，但确实有些力不从心了。借着老人和小孩的戏剧冲突，东木也在讲述自己的人生哲学，牛仔，人终于要和自己和解的。

画内:年迈的Miko被职业所抛弃。
3星半，吉他配乐特别引人入胜，整个事件过于简单又顺利，基本说服不了观众的动机。美墨边境的混乱常态根本不值一提，少年一路上也省心，碰到的都是好人，大方的女老板、从天而降的车、以为是拦路虎却没什么用的警察。和以前的片子比，就是个流水账，不想说它是“童话”，可拍得很安然无恙又太过浅白。这西部片的配乐很符气质，虽然到处槽点也不至于很难过，看到这片，想着牛仔导演怎么还不退休。
