The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东木大爷精神上依旧是那个老派的牛仔，但身体明显跟不上了。
虽然故事很简单甚至有点儿扯，台词也尴尬，但是当你看到92岁的东爷，步履蹒跚，却眼神坚毅，配上绝美到窒息的美墨风景，动人的配乐，和人到暮年才有的感悟，怎能不让人动容？
典型的公路题材电影，可惜没有多少闪光点，有点太过细碎和泛泛。
老人家的作品看一部少一部了，多给一个星
在只会努嘴的小孩面前，东木的演技太内敛、深沉了，他们自始至终都没融在一起。至于营造气氛和解决冲突，老头连行活都不屑于使，直接一记「鸡械降神」给我看呆。
东木老爷爷，棒棒哒！！硬汉的晚年，还是很硬，但也有老房子着火的时候，会给小动物看病，真是积德的好事啊，积来了好运气。哈哈哈，据说91的老爷爷了，抱着小公鸡回去找女朋友了，棒！！！

真的是人老了都会变得敏感细腻吧，老爷子的电影最近几年风格越来越“软”了，暮年的人也许都是这样豁达掺杂着些许无奈。这个世界离他们越来越远，也终将离我们越来越远。那一双透出无尽沧桑的细眼。也早已没了坚定和锐利，随它去吧……
醇厚、舒缓的特质弥漫在整部电影里，如沐春风。
剧情很普通了 整篇几乎可以用温和来形容 影片里看的时候有好几次都觉得颤颤巍巍 佩服老爷子这么大把年纪了还在自导自演
