The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 艺术来源于生活，真实的生活真实的故事最为动人。
Davis 本人对索金的人物塑造持保留意见 缺点或者说窠臼还是有不少的 但让我个人兴奋的 reference 也是不少(别再吹 Eric Clapton 了 Ginger Baker 比他好到不知那里去了) 结尾的煽动性和喊话够直接 —— The Whole World Is Watching 但同时也要看到：Of course, there are very decent police officers in every state but the systemic racism in the police department just can’t be denied. 好歹是本方队友加一分鼓励吧 希望索金还是意识一下自己太白了的缺点 这种白化简直是可怜了的骑墙感
911导致飞机迫降，一大堆来自世界各地不同的语言、信仰、性向、饮食的陌生人被迫隔离封闭在一个小岛。导致的个体巨大的孤独、断层感，与世界割裂崩塌(虽然生活扔要继续)，失去一切被无力所吞噬，在困境中如同cosplay的异样。承受着同样的割裂与孤独的人们无法忍受新闻，走出家门为陌生人做点什么，用宽容与爱去对抗这一切的故事。
历时百多天的审判就像个连续剧，演员各司其职，在庭审现场作秀，双方的立场很清楚，判决也早有定论，被告要做的，当然是借机扩大影响，无休止的藐视法庭，起哄作怪，把事实摆出来，让公众去评判，把战场上的死亡名单念出来，让历史去默哀。
台詞密度高不代表就很厲害。庭審戲拍得實在太無聊了！鏡頭無聊、剪輯無聊、連演員的表演都被帶的很無聊⋯⋯一星留給這段發人深省並正在重演的歷史。看完這片也就懂了為什麼囧瑟夫會在臉書發那篇文了。P.S 真不敢相信這是拍出《 The Newsroom》的導演 ( •̅_•̅ )
一个感想：在这个年代，煽动情绪远比启发思考要重要得多。哪怕你拍的是法庭戏。

“With the trial starting, it might get easy to forget who this is about” 当这个审判开始后，我们很容易失去方向，忘记我们最初的目的。结局小雀斑在法庭上念出那五千名在越南牺牲的士兵名字时，是个不忘初心的故事。
好感人
索金编剧依旧出色，导演功力比《茉莉牌局》有明显进步。
从头到尾人物都是不稳定的，除了法官是彻头彻尾的让人讨厌；事件切碎成好几个叙述者花式叙述，也没让我感觉到有更深入的效果；可能缺乏对美国历史和政治体系的理解，除了歧视黑人和反对人权让我热血喷张青筋暴起以外，本片的结尾并不如辩护人般震撼人心
太牛逼了，爆笑爽片，索金终于会导电影了，剪辑带劲，配乐炸裂！
音乐剧差不多是世界上最治愈最鼓舞人心的创作了。
很索金。政治的讲，索金对美国这个制度还是抱有信心的，这大概就是美国特色的四个自信。

总体中上，剪辑凌乱，输入密集，想要表达的太多太多了
机长的演唱太精彩了，印象最深刻的一个角色，演技很棒，寓意也很好，非常有爱的一部音乐剧
在听到大家唱歌的时候我没哭。只是看到大家在经历灾难之后，仍然笑着交谈的时候，我就泪流满面。
