The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不错的温情小品。作为名门之后，达科塔并没有利用成熟稳定的人脉资源，把大量的时间和精力投入商业作品中，还是值得肯定的。表演能力也稳定向上，如果运气好碰到好本子，有机会触摸更高的层面。全片也牢牢的控制在既不左也不右的方向上，看得出男主兼导演是个平和的人，一如片中呈现出的略带本色的表演和为人^_^。
