The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 情节有点老土，NBA球员大多是客串，但桑德斯的眼神确实演活了一个渴望当教练的资深球探的渴望，对于事业的追求，看到结尾隐约有《当幸福来敲门》小感动。
结尾干脆利落，这就对了，相濡以沫，不如相忘于江湖。

因为不看篮球所以肯定会少很多惊喜和乐趣，不过这样的体育励志剧怎么拍都会好看
虽然电影技法上都是简单粗暴的直男审美，但是看的时候依然觉得热血沸腾，这种运动题材算是自带buff的作弊存在。

非常老套的设定，无非又是代表着强势米帝的NBA到相对落后的国家薅人才的故事。丧丧的桑德勒带着一脸的中年疲惫和曾经的辉煌传奇，再次和来自西班牙的天才运动员共创巅峰!好多致敬，好多情怀，好多拼搏!没有那么惊艳，但是非常好看、有完成度的一部电影!
