The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 网络电影与游戏结合，题材吸睛，实际表现也是可圈可点，开始刻画出人物弧线，镜头运用也不呆板，很有电影的感觉了

别说，还真不错！把我这样一个不玩游戏的人 都给看激动了～
导演精准的捕捉到电竞的魅力，并出色的完成了影像化，电影里的很多东西都会让我欢呼并感动着，当然网络电影常见的缺点或多或少也沾了点。
这剧后面没有前面精彩，但作为网剧来说，还是过关的。
臭玩游戏的都是傻缺，此言诚不我欺。这电影里面有年轻时打游戏打到让女朋友堕胎的，有四打一被反杀的，有打线下职业比赛开挂的，有在打比赛前聚众斗殴的，有过了三十岁只会打游戏并一事无成还妄想出成绩的，有想争名次的队伍里却还有女人的。
有点硬核亨利的感觉了，但还是不够过瘾，可能不是全程第一视角
王者？吃鸡？都没玩过。奥特了不是，所以没啥共鸣。拍得还是很燃的。

故事完整，父子情、热血燃、游戏中的队友情以及爱情都处理得恰到好处，手法成熟得不像是一个新人导演。
这片子必须是网络电影（非贬义），影片的主题及制作，可以完美互文播放载体，才有可能出现有人说到的“沉浸式体验”。当然，如果放到影院层面，各方面可能都不合适，甚至会引人入睡。

被片名耽误的牛逼电影～吃鸡电影里最好看的～人物剧情扎实外，吃鸡比赛的设计反转也出人意料！
名气都是靠资本包装就来的！真实了！
近似的配方，要比《缝纫机乐队》和《羞羞的铁拳》更沉稳内秀，不造作。又不失《沐浴之王》的欢脱、《飞驰人生》的励志和迟暮感。
游戏场面很带感，让不玩游戏的人也有兴趣试一把。无明星的小成本做成这样真的很棒。3.5星
被肖汉那句“年轻的时候，把游戏当信仰，多可笑啊”整破防了，虽然不玩魔兽好几年了，但最近暴雪的事还是让我觉得很伤心。
故事老套，设置强硬，演技生涩。但是游戏部分太完美了，看呆了！燃烧！女主好漂亮！
套路化严重 但考虑到豆瓣er们对大鱼海棠这类片子的宽容 给个四星也是不虚不虚
