Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'

半部好片。作为“后3·11”题材，巧妙错位在于比起灾难的创伤，姐妹俩比灾难更早地面临原生家庭的创伤。开篇的漫步路过了城市与自然，路过了灾难的废墟，此步履不停之姿既是回家，但这个家又是刚组成的新拟似家族，只有“来”到了家，这个家才开始形成。因此，漫步作开场便已开始酝酿着灾后的内面和家族的重建。川面一直有意保持着这种不让内面自白溢出的克制，仅仅看着她们的苦难，但仅有克制而缺少其他方面的支撑的话，恐怕并不能面对中段的主题转变——从拯救自己转向拯救城市的创伤。

民俗传说结合现实题材其实挺合适的，隔壁对氛围节奏的把控也确实好，还有超强的作画演出加持。不过由个体向群体的转变就像boss一样走过场
有一说一，交待背景靠奶奶不断的讲故事的确让人出戏。最后希望我们“往事暗沉不可追，来日之路光明璀璨”。
画面依然很具日本特色，很美丽
前半制造完窒息焦虑，后面的“解决”未免太轻快了些，无法缓解到我🥹而且“婆婆感谢儿媳妇”和“失业后碰巧发达老友雇你”这种不现实的事情接二连三的……但是人确实任性点好，努力任性，加油😄
画风到剧情到节奏都是很日常很治愈的，妖怪的部分有点少，在大迷家里看到的那些明明超级可爱，河童和巨大的地藏菩萨还有唐狮子也很可爱。最后战斗有点不给力，アガメ很轻松就被干掉了。总体还是很喜欢的，7/10吧

看开头以为是夏目友人帐，中间觉得是河童之夏，快到结尾发现是鸣人大战九尾……

不是很懂后面打怪那两下子是干嘛，要就全程叙述神奇缓慢的人间天堂，妹妹就是个需要被保护的不会说话的小女孩，我能给四星。
没那么治愈
封印悲伤只需要人类的信心、勇气和家人般的爱。很治愈的动画，可惜最后打boss的过程太短了。
