The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2.故事太过平淡，冲突不够激烈，像记流水账一样
20220118 处处对标《罗马》却又时时落入下风的平庸之作，情绪音乐剧情都太满了，颇有些腻歪……孩子和俩老人的关系倒是表现得有亮点。不过更大的问题似乎是，孩童视角天然被免除了很多基本的判断，60年代很诸多冲突和被简化为教派之争。一家人被封闭在街区中寻找出路，离愁别绪成为唯一可回忆的自我观照。
固定的街景之下，整部电影像发生在戏剧舞台，而观众被置为“戏剧观众“，与本来容易抓到的与历史相关的童年回忆和乡愁之前多了一层隔膜
搞不懂为什么会拿原创剧本奖，故事讲的有些散，事件也很分散，构图加了很多分。
要說也是比較接近Terence Davies吧，怎麼一堆人提到《羅馬》？，2021.12.08
说教和福音味儿让人腻烦。
没什么收获，口音也不喜欢，看完心里十分不舒服，恕我无法给高分。
剧情略有点平，感觉是借着北爱冲突的大背景拍情感和人际关系，从叙事角度如果单独作为一部电影来看不是特别完整。
不知道该如何评价，整体给我的感觉有点华而不实。

分了几次看完，受限于过于地缘化的时代背景，完全同kb共情诚然是不太可能，但结尾处关于流亡和放逐的阐释，在这个特殊的疫情时期，反而与现实达成了一种跨时空的呼应。btw，虽然立意对标罗马，kb也有意在视听方面大做文章，但画面质感还是太类型片。
