The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 整个电影如夜间一般诗意。
想不到2022年的电影还可以有这么传统又温馨的剧情（整个片子都没有什么大情节，但好喜欢这个80s的流水账）。看完循环Joe Dassin。
寒夜里的慰藉，迷茫时的拥抱，无需过多的动机思虑，无需未来的远景构思。

在黑暗里看这部影片实在是很有触动。巴黎的夜景，瞬间的情动，孤独的天台秘密。想起我的高中，躲掉吃饭的时间在教室里听电台，还有无数个我刻意和被迫成为旅人的孤单。好想去巴黎看夜景抽烟喝酒。法国人，一个用脚拍也能拍出三星好评的国度。
深夜电台、戏院、暗室。长夜入日行。
夜色一样轻盈温柔地疗愈，女性和母亲的力量。
谁不爱80年代，谁不爱巴黎，如此朦胧又温柔。
很喜欢，感受到了导演的心意，那个闪耀治愈的时代，还有人生中无数的关系，有些像小鸟一样落在肩头，有些刻骨铭心的却突然消失了，有些以为永恒的结束了，有些以为暂时的留下了，有些一直陪伴身边的，但一切都这么美好啊

复古格调先入为主地介入创作，那些拼贴其中16mm footage才是本片的根基，满月的巴黎夜、甘斯布的烟嗓电台仿佛都成了一种搬演。电影总要关乎空间，情书总要献给巴黎。落地窗外、塞纳河边，走不出去的80年代……旅人是针，迷影情怀是线，交织出千千万万如水的夜。
非常touch到我，敏感 柔软 脆弱。在这个有城市窗的房子里，这不是想象的生活但我们尽力过去热爱它。80年代，巴黎，那个整体价值所在的世界，这种生活方式、人际关系、年代背景和城市样貌对于今天的我们是永恒缺失的，正是这种缺失使我们不停追求。
一边看一边跟朋友吐槽，欧洲人还是矫情，这大house住着搁咱这儿妥妥人上人。看着看着还是妥协了，谁不苦呢？大house住着也是苦。Charlotte Gainsbourg真的是风姿矍铄，法国中年女人抽烟也太美了！
