The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事有点老套吧，不过怪兽用跳舞的套路打拳击还挺可爱的，而且各种怪兽的样子挺可爱的，三星半吧
出乎意料的难看，及格线以下的作品。故事线谈不上精彩，转折也很生硬，如同小学生的流水账作文！
做好自己就挺好的，冠军不冠军的也就那样吧。
非常平淡无奇，剧情等等都过于浮夸，但是也能看下去。
剧情很老套，而且中间环节没有太跌宕起伏，看下来没有很燃。

只能说是非常平庸流水线美式动漫，成品基本看不到属于自己创新的东西。没有搞好故事的逻辑。开头的期待，没有让我得到想要的结果。随便看几分钟就能猜到前片的那种片子。看完一个半小时，只感觉到自己浪费了一个半小时。

这种题材有先天优势，而且还是真实故事，残酷、沉重。那些同胞其实根本不是死在他手下，但他却要为此背负一生的痛苦、愧疚和梦魇。不过整体拍得有点平和散，不如《波斯语课》。
二战题材。男主幸存者，在集中营被德国人用来赌博拳击。后来逃跑成功，为了寻找失散的女友，在拳击大赛中想借新闻，让女友看到。后两人都组成了家庭，最后女友去世前得以相见。
