The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 谁来管底层人们呢，谁去为那些露宿街头的人难过，基础保障太提现一个国家的治理水平了。朱迪就是那个无助的人，演技无声无息地侵入角色本体，封神了。
很有愛，也很真實。至少在某些國家，是不太可能用這樣的角度來思考和表現的。

电影就是要有一些温度和人文关怀的，这部电影做到了，小变态的演技不用多说，感染力很强，其实更该想想的，是为何人家对疫情的反思与反省可以在影视作品中看到，而我们能看到的只有一些假大空的作品，我们真的抗抑成功了吗？伤痛中的武汉人民真的痊愈了吗？或许有人会说，这跟你有什么关系呢？是啊，跟我有什么关系呢？这才是我们该思考的问题。
没看懂结局塑造的话：因为她是个很好的人，但她从没有得到过很好的对待，所以她不希望一个好人，被那么对待。属于一种自我救赎。
有那么一下子心情又回到了去年晚上躲被窝里边看新闻边哭的时候，好无助啊
仅凭口音，Josie Comer 就可以演什么像什么。
当然本片也不是每个方面都做得优秀，最后Sarah和Tony的感情线就显得非常突兀，而一味地控诉也让我觉得说教意义太浓重。但作为当下为数不多的讲述新冠疫情的电影，这种在大事件中描写小人物的故事比流水账式的记录每一个大事件的更能让人共情。

抛却叙事的技巧，只关注生活的一种状态。
演的真好。大事件下小个体的挣扎，制度框架下的个人选择，有对抗也有无奈。抛开疫情，这个故事其实也可以成立。
