The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 最感人的永远是陌生人的善意，最动人的永远是旅途中的意外。
节奏非常明快，对众生相的描写非常细腻，也对美国人后911的心态有比较真挚的刻画。确实是一曲人性的颂歌。17年底去纽约的时候就看到了这剧的大幅广告牌，也被当地导游推荐了这个剧，但当时去看了更有名的《西贡小姐》就没去看它。。。其实还是比较明智的选择吧，因为现场第一次看的话，肯定听不懂。。。感谢字幕帮我看了一出好戏！
bravo！这才是音乐剧！一个沉重的故事能够用诙谐幽默的曲调讲述最后又归为向上的生活，实在是演绎得太精彩！舞美？几乎零成本！导演编排得太妙！在有限的空间去呈现一座小镇在重大灾难下五天里无私的奉献！在灾难面前的团结总是那么令人动容！为什么我们的音乐剧无法去诙谐的缓解伤痛被？为什么伤痛总被刻意加深拷上镣铐无法再提及呢，这就是格局吧，好遗憾。歌也都好好听，泪目了都，喜欢！！
我太佩服这部音乐剧的编排了，明明每个演员都在一人分饰多角，但全靠编排调度，让观众丝毫不会迷惑。最喜欢女机长的自白，人生可不就是一个接着一个的suddenly吗？
就个人而言，这部音乐剧给我的感触不是很深，可能某些剧情会有所触动，里面的音乐也没能让我记忆犹深。
完成度很高，紧凑，热闹，张弛有度，音乐好听，人物立体表演到位，调度清晰明了，动人而有大能量…我国的主旋律可以参考这样的叙事。记住了这些人，和Gander这个地方。

我想在global pandemia面前这部剧的意义无需多言，在这个时间点放出官摄我哭到时代广场都有回声。
